IN MEMORY OF LIEUTENANT COLONEL F J HARDEN COMMANDING 2ND BATTALION BEDFORDSHIRE REGIMENT SON OF THE LATE JAMES HARDEN, OF HARRY BROOK, CO. ARMAGH. BORN 26TH OCTOBER 1848. DIED 2ND JUNE 1895. ERECTED BY HIS BROTHER OFFICERS OF THE 1ST AND 2ND BATTALIONS OF THE REGIMENT.
IN MEMORY OF CHARLES JAMES KENDALL 2ND LIEUTENANT H.M. IX REGIMENT BOMBAY INFANTRY LATE OF BEDFORD GRAMMAR SCHOOL WHO DIED AT MHOW CENTRAL INDIA JANUARY 21ST 1890. AGE 21. ERECTED BY HIS BROTHER OFFICERS.

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF GODFREY HUGH ST PIERRE BUNBURY LIEUTENANT AND ACTING CAPTAIN 15TH SIKHS DEARLY LOVED YOUNGEST SON OF LT. COL. W. ST PIERRE BUNBURY R.F.A. AND OF LILIAN HIS WIFE WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION IN MESOPOTAMIA ON FEB 1ST 1917 WHEN ATTACHED TO THE 36TH SIKHS. AGED 22.

Captain attached 36th Sikhs. Died Thursday 1st February 1917. Age 22. Son of Lt. Col. W. St. Pierre Bunbury (R.F.A.) and Lilian Bunbury, of "De Braye," Alexandra Rd., South Farnborough, Hants. Buried: AMARA WAR CEMETERY, Iraq. Grave Ref. XXI. J. 19.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF ARTHUR HENRY TUNING LIEUTENANT 36TH SIKHS SON OF THEN REV. J. R. AND F.M. TUNING WHO FELL IN BATTLE ON THE INDIAN FRONTIER JANY. 29 1898. AGED 27 YEARS.

IN MEMORY OF JOHN EDGCOMBE VENNING A LIEUTENANT IN THE DUKE OF CORNWALL'S LIGHT INFANTRY FORMERLY OF WINCHESTER COLLEGE & CHRIST CHURCH OXFORD, WHO WAS MARRIED IN THIS CHURCH ON THE 19TH JUNE 1941 AND WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION IN SICILY ON THE 19TH JULY 1943. AGED 25.

Lieutenant 121818 attached 1st Battalion , Dorsetshire Regiment. Killed in action Monday 19th July 1943. Age 25. Son of John and Margaret Beatrice Venning, of Shenley, Hertfordshire; husband of Pamela Aileen Venning. B.A. (Oxon.). Buried in CATANIA WAR CEMETERY, SICILY, Italy. Grave III. K. 35.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF HIS (JOHN BULL) GRANDSON JOHN BULL SERGEANT PILOT, RAFVR, KILLED ON ACTIVE SERVICE 5TH MARCH 1944. AGED 25 YEARS.

THIS TABLET ERECTED BY HIS WIFE AND PARENTS.

Sergeant 750482, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Died on Sunday 5th March 1944. Age 25. Son of John and Gertrude Bull, of Bedford. Commemorated on RUNNYMEDE MEMORIAL, Surrey. Panel 226.

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF GURTH BIGNELL CAPTAIN THE BEDFORDSHIRE REGIMENT KILLED IN ACTION AT POZIERES PICARDY XVTH JULY A.D. MCMXVI AGED XXV YEARS
"INTO THY HANDS O LORD WE COMMEND HIS SPIRIT"

Captain, 6th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Killed in action ast Pozieres, Picrady, France Saturday 15th July 1916. Aged 25. Buried in POZIERES BRITISH CEMETERY, OVILLERS-LA BOISSELLE, Somme, France. Grave III. L. 1.
