The church was not accessible when visited but in the churchyard are the two following:

SAUNDERSON	Heber [Herber]	[Herber on N/A of Canada] Private 126762, 17th (Reserve) Battalion, Canadian Infantry. Died Thursday 23rd January 1919. Age 40. Son of William and Jane Saunderson, of Cockayne Hatley. Born Cockayne Hatley 8th May 1877. Married, wife Charlotte Saunderson living at Brockville St., Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Labourer by trade. Had previously served in the Duke of Wellingtons R. Regiment for 6 years. Enlisted 20th September 1915 at Guelph, Ontario, Canada. 5 feet 5 inches tall, 39 inch waist, dark complexion, blue eyes, black hair. Religion Church of England. Buried in St John the Baptist Churchyard, Cockayne Hatley, south-west of the church. National Archives of Canada Accession Reference: RG 150, Accession 1992-93/166, Box 8663 - 50
		In recognition of the crew of LIBERATOR KN736 which crashed in Potton Wood 18th September 1945. F/L P J McNULTY DFC RAAF W/O J R POTTER RAAF F/L EJJ SPILLER DFC RAF F/S D R TRUNER RAF who were killed F/S R V CARLING RAF F/O F G DORAK RAAF F/O N P GILMOUR DFC RAAF & BITSA the dog who were saved with the help of local people (see below for details of those who died)
McNULTY, DFC	Patrick Joseph	Flight Lieutenant 426286, 446 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force. Age 22. Died in the air crash at Potton Wood, Tuesday 18th September 1945. Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. McNulty, of Beenleigh, Queensland, Australia. Buried in Cambridge City Cemetery, Cambridge. Grave 15907.
POTTER	James Raymond	Warrant Officer 434008, 446 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force. Age 22. Died in the air crash at Potton Wood, Tuseday 18th September 1945. Son of George Henry and Sarah Scott Potter, of Texas, Queensland, Australia. Buried in Cambridge City Cemetery, Cambridge. Grave 15908.
SPILLER, DFC	Edward John James	Flight Lieutenant 147197, 466 (R.A.A.F.) Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Age 28. Died in the air crash at Potton Wood, Tuseday 18th September 1945. Son of Edward John and Annie Louisa Spiller, of Edmonton; husband of Lilian Frances Spiller, of Edmonton. Buried in Edmonton Cemetery, Edmonton, Middlesex. Section W. Grave 41. TURNER	Delbert Roy	Flight Sergeant 1863014, Flight Engineer, 466 (R.A.A.F.) Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Died in the air crash at Potton Wood, Tuseday 18th September 1945. Age 20. Son of George Frederick and Gladys Turner, of Lowestoft. Buried in St Margaret Churchyard, Lowestoft, Suffolk. Section 3. Row A. Grave 9.
