Infantry. Died Thursday 23rd January 1919. Age 40. Son of William
and Jane Saunderson, of Cockayne Hatley. Born Cockayne Hatley 8th
May 1877. Married, wife Charlotte Saunderson living at Brockville
St., Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Labourer by trade. Had previously
served in the Duke of Wellingtons R. Regiment for 6 years. Enlisted
20th September 1915 at Guelph, Ontario, Canada. 5 feet 5 inches
tall, 39 inch waist, dark complexion, blue eyes, black hair. Religion
Church of England. Buried in St John the Baptist Churchyard, Cockayne
