Son of William and Catherine Young, of 4, Russell St., Luton. Unmarried. No known grave. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 9 D 9 C 13 C and 12 C.
YOUNG Walter Frederick
Private 33097, 9th Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment formerly 4304, Bedfordshire Regiment, Killed in action 1 October 1917. Enlisted Luton. Married, Resident 36, oak Road, Luton. No known grave. Commemorated on TYNE COT MEMORIAL, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 50 to 51.
