The lych gate to St Mary's church is dedicated to the men who fell from the village although the actual memorial is on the wall inside the church itself. Eaither side or the memorial are, on the left, The Roll of Service for 1914-1918 and a list of Rectors of the Church on the right.

Richard Thomas Folliott SCOTT Lieutenant, 1st Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment. Killed in action Saturday, 16th March 1918. Age 24. Son of the Rev. Richard Curtis Folliott Scott and Edith Marion Scott, of Hulcote Rectory, Bletchley, Beds. Buried in Houplines Communal Cemetery Extension, Nord, France. Grave II. E. 20.
John Hastings Folliott SCOTT 2nd Lieutenant, 3rd Battalion Oxford & Bucks Regiment, attached 5th Battalion. Killed in action Monday, 9th April 1917. Age 22. Son of Rev. Richard C. Folliott Scott and Edith Marion Scott, of Hulcote Rectory, Bletchley, Beds. Buried in Tilloy British Cemetery, Tilloy-les-Mofflaines, Pas de Calais, France. Grave IV. D. 24.
Stephen EMMERTON Sergeant, 25499, 39th Battalion, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry). Killed in action Friday 28th June 1918 in France & Flanders. Age 20. Born Aspley Guise, enlisted Bedford, resident Woburn Sands. Son of William and Annie Emmerton, of Water Hall, Woburn Sands. Formerly, 10755, 6th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Buried in Thiennes British Cemetery, Nord, France. Row D. Grave 4.
Percy Charles Tansley BRITTEN Private, 23776, 4th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Killed in action Monday, 30th September 1918. Age 20. Born and resident Salford, enlisted Ampthill. Son of Mrs. E. L. Britten, of Hulcote Moors Cottage, Salford. Buried in Cantaing British Cemetery, Nord, France. Grave B. 14.
Frederick George BRITTEN Private, 32207, 6th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Killed in action Tuesday, 27th September 1917 in France & Flanders. Enlisted and resident Bedford. Commemorated on Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 48 to 50 and 162A.

Thomas HARRIS Private, 17055, 7th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Killed in action Friday, 15th October 1915. Age 24. Born Swansea, Glamorgan, enlisted Northampton. Son of Frank and Fanny Harris, of 2, The Flats, Salford, Bletchley, Bucks. Buried in Voormezeele Enclosure No. 3, Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Grave VIII. B. I.
