Sapper 1922320. Royal Engineers. Attached to 30th Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment. Died on 25th January 1943. Aged 23. Son of Arthur James Hedges and Emily Ann Hedges, of Stanbridge. Buried: Stanbridge (St. John The Baptist) Churchyard. N.E. Corner.

STANBRIDGE

Kenneth William

Private 14991981. 2nd Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Died on 11th February 1945. Aged 19. Son of John and Blanche Stanbridge, of Stanbridge, Bedfordshire. Buried: Jonkerbos War Cemetery, Gelderland, Netherlands. Ref. 21. G. 5.

Driver T/140965. Royal Army Service Corps. Died on 22nd September 1940. Aged 22. Grandson of Henry and Anis Sells; nephew of Rose A. Sells, of Stanbridge. Buried: Stanbridge (St. John The Baptist) Churchyard. East of Church.
