The
memorial consists of an ornate board which, 0n 24 June 2007, was found
in the male toilet of the village hall. The hall appears newly renovated,
and it is possible that the board is yet to be re-hung. Over the top
of the board (and not shown in the photograph) is an ornate top-piece,
which is inscribed “Peasmore”. The board commemorates only
Great War personnel, and there is no other inscription. Only one entry
is endorsed “Killed”, and it is probable this memorial is
a list of men who served, of which one died.
