KITCHENER, DCM Harold George

Sergeant 43723, 6th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Died of wounds Friday 30th August 1918 in France & Flanders. Born Loughton, enlisted Bedford. Formerly 19469, Bedfordshire Regiment. Awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal (DCM). Buried in DAOURS COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Somme, France. Grave VII. A. 51.

PURVIS Eric

Sergeant T/208024, 11th Battalion, The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regiment). Killed in action Friday 25th October 1918 in France & Flanders. Enlisted Aylesbury, resident Bletchley. Formerly 265915, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Buried in HEESTERT MILITARY CEMETERY, Zwevegem, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Grave C. 4.

SLATER Joseph James

Private 35729, 5th Battalion, Alexandra, Princess of Wales's Own (Yorkshire Regiment). Died of wounds Tuesday 14th May 1918 in France & Flanders. Born newport Pagnell, enlisted Bletchley, resident Loughton. Formerly 38624, Hampshire Regiment. Buried in BEAUREPAIRE FRENCH NATIONAL CEMETERY, PONTAVERT, Aisne, France. Grave 1245.

WILLETT Mark

Rifleman 5673, 21st Battalion (1st Surrey Rifles), London Regiment. Killed in action Friday 15th September 1916 in France & Flanders. Born Loughtoon, enlisted Oxford, resident Bletchley. Formerly 22539, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 13 C.
