325753 CSM, 1/1st Cambridgeshire Regiment. Killed in action 22-8-18. Awarded MC, DCM and Bar. Aged 22, son of Mr & Mrs James Betts, lived Twenty Foot Sidings. Beacon Cemetery, Sailly-Laurette.

Albert BOYCE

4128 Pte, 4th Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 1-11-16. Husband of M Stearne (formerly Boyce), 49 North Street, March. Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.

John William FINCHAM

 

20755 L/Cpl, 11th Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 1-7-16. Son of Grimmer & Rebecca Fincham, 133 West End, March. Ovillers Military Cemetery. His wife is buried in Tydd churchyard, along with 2 of his daughters. See also Tydd St Giles and March.
