The Murrow memorial is in the form of an obelisk and stands at the junction of The Bank and Front Road, Murrow. There 16 16 names for World War 1 and none for World War 2. The mmeorial was unveile din March 1920 and cost £170 0s 0d. Further details are held at the Wisbech and Fenland Museum.

In thw 1911 census he is listed as the 12 year old grandson of John Andrew; he was at school, born Murrow and staying in Murrow. No further information currently available.

possibly Private 16554, 6th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 26 July 1916. Born and enlisted Holbeach, resident Holbeach Hurn. Buried in Caberet Rouge British Cemetery, Souchez.

Second Lieutenant, 2nd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 27 September 1918, at Flesquieres. Aged 35. Son of William and Anna Baldwin, of 182 Park Rd, Peterborough. Buried in Lowrie Cemetery, Havrincourt, France.

Private 22051, 11th (Cambridgeshire) Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 1 July 1916. No known grave. Commemorated on Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.

Private 331045, 8th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 12 October 1917. Buried in Artillery Wood Cemetery, Boezinge, Belgium.

Private (Motor transport loader) T4/172505, Army Service Corps. Husband of Florence Elizabeth Dan, Flo Villa, Murrow. Attested 12 February 1916, mobilised 3 June 1916, posted to Army Service Corps. Posted to B.H.T.D. Havre on 20 June 1916. Invalided to England with pleurisy 20 June 1917. Discharged 10 October 1917. Died Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, from shock after operation sometime during 1918.
