There is no War memorial in the village or church, the following names are taken from the County First World War memorial in Ely Cathedral:



possibly William Henry Pauley, 1st Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Killed in action 9th November 1914 in France & Flanders. Born Waterbeach, enlisted St Ives, Hunts, resident Peterborough.


Probably: Pte. F Smith, 1st Bt. Bedfordshire Reg., d 26/4/1917, age 22, buried: POINT-DU-JOUR MILITARY CEMETERY, ATHIES, Pas de Calais, France. Son of Mrs. Emily Jane Smith, of Papworth Agnes, Cambs

William Phillip Arthur PAWLEY

Pte., Royal Army Ordnance Corps, d 4/2/1942, age 31. Son of William James & Grace Marion Pawley of Graveley.
