The former Church is now a private house, there is no memorial in the village, so these names have been taken from the First World War County Memorial in Ely Cathedral.

AVIS	Victor	Private 139522, 3^rd Battalion, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry). Died of wounds 28 October 1918. Aged 21. Born Woodditton, enlisted Newmarket. Son of Walter and Alice Avis, of 11, Vinery Road, Romsey Town, Cambridge. Buried in ROMERIES COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Nord, France. See also Woodditton.
DRAKE	Richard	Private12463, 11^th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died of wounds 12 September 1917. Born Exning, enlisted Newmarket. Buried in TINCOURT NEW BRITISH CEMETERY, Somme, France. See also Woodditton.
GENT	Norman	Lance Corporal, 8^th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Died of wounds 14 October 1916. Aged 32. Born and enlisted Newmarket. Son of Joseph Gent, of Rose Villa, Saxon Street, Newmarket, Cambs. Buried in ETAPLES MILITARY CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.
HOWE	Percy William	Lance Corporal 52328, 2nd Battalion, The Northamptonshire Regiment formerly with the Suffolk Regiment (23684). 8th Divsion. Killed in action 13th October 1918. Born in Woodditton and enlisted in Newmarket. No known grave. Commemorated on Vis En Artois Memorial MR.16.
HUBBARD	Charles	Private, 11^th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 1 July 1916. Aged 32. Born Saxon Street, enlisted Newmarket. Son of James Hubbard, of Saxon Street, Newmarket; husband of Hilda May Hubbard, of Laburnum Terrace, Grantchester, Cambridge. No known grave. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. PEACHEY	Frederick [Charles]	Private, 1^st Canadian Mounted Rifles (Saskatchewan Regiment). Died 15 September 1916. Aged 24. Son of Edward and Susannah Peachey, of Rose Cottage, Saxon Street, Newmarket. Buried in REGINA TRENCH CEMETERY, GRANDCOURT, Somme, France. See also Wooditton.
PEACHEY	Joseph [William]	Private, 7^th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 13 October 1915. Aged 20. Born Wooditton, enlisted Newmarket. Son of the late James Peachey. No known grave. Commemorated on LOOS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. See also Woodditton.
SHARPE	William	Private, 16^th Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment,). Died 25 September 1916. Son of Mrs Alice Sharpe, 67 Saxon Rd, Newmarket. Born 1895, Wood Ditton. No known grave. Commemorated on VIMY MEMORIAL Pas de Calais, France. See also Woodditton and Exning.
