The former Church is now a private house, there is no memorial in the village, so these names have been taken from the First World War County Memorial in Ely Cathedral.

Private 139522, 3rd Battalion, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry). Died of wounds 28 October 1918. Aged 21. Born Woodditton, enlisted Newmarket. Son of Walter and Alice Avis, of 11, Vinery Road, Romsey Town, Cambridge. Buried in ROMERIES COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Nord, France. See also Woodditton.

Lance Corporal 52328, 2nd Battalion, The Northamptonshire Regiment formerly with the Suffolk Regiment (23684). 8th Divsion. Killed in action 13th October 1918. Born in Woodditton and enlisted in Newmarket. No known grave. Commemorated on Vis En Artois Memorial MR.16.

Private, 11th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action 1 July 1916. Aged 32. Born Saxon Street, enlisted Newmarket. Son of James Hubbard, of Saxon Street, Newmarket; husband of Hilda May Hubbard, of Laburnum Terrace, Grantchester, Cambridge. No known grave. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Private, 1st Canadian Mounted Rifles (Saskatchewan Regiment). Died 15 September 1916. Aged 24. Son of Edward and Susannah Peachey, of Rose Cottage, Saxon Street, Newmarket. Buried in REGINA TRENCH CEMETERY, GRANDCOURT, Somme, France. See also Wooditton.
