The former Church is now a private house, there is no memorial in the village, so these names have been taken from the First World War County Memorial in Ely Cathedral.

Victor AVIS	Pte. 139522, 3^rd Bt. Machine Gun Corps (Inf), died of wounds 28/10/1918, age 21, born Woodditton, enlisted Newmarket, buried: ROMERIES COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Nord, France. Son of Walter and Alice Avis, of 11, Vinery Rd., Romsey Town, Cambridge. See also Woodditton.
Richard DRAKE	Pte. 12463, 11^th Bt. Suffolk Reg., died of wounds 12/9/1917, born Exning, enlisted Newmarket, buried: TINCOURT NEW BRITISH CEMETERY, Somme, France. See also Woodditton.
Norman GENT	L/Cpl. 8^th Bt. Suffolk Reg., died of wounds 14 October 1916, age 32, born and enlisted Newmarket, buried: ETAPLES MILITARY CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. Son of Joseph Gent, of Rose Villa, Saxon St., Newmarket, Cambs.
Percy William HOWE	Lance Corporal 52328, 2nd Battalion, The Northamptonshire Regiment. 8th Divsion. Killed in action 13th October 1918. Born in Woodditton and enlisted in Newmarket. Formerly with the Suffolk Regiment (23684). Commemorated on The Vis En Artois Memorial MR.16.
Charles HUBBARD	Pte. 11^th Bt. Suffolk Reg., killed in action 1 July 1916, age 32, commemorated: THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Son of James Hubbard, of Saxon St., Newmarket; husband of Hilda May Hubbard, of Laburnum Terrace, Grantchester, Cambridge. Born Saxon Street, enlisted Newmarket. See also Grantchester and Woodditton.
Frederick [Charles] PEACHEY	Pte. 1^st Canadian Mounted Rifles (Saskatchewan Reg.), d 15/9/1916, age 24, buried: REGINA TRENCH CEMETERY, GRANDCOURT, Somme, France. Son of Edward and Susannah Peachey, of Rose Cottage, Saxon St., Newmarket, England. See also Wooditton.
Joseph [William] PEACHEY	Pte. 7^th Bt. Suffolk Reg., killed in action 13 October 1915, age 20, born Wooditton, enlisted Newmarket, commemorated: LOOS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Son of the late James Peachey. See also Woodditton.
