This
database contains details of the memorial to those men that
gave their lives in World War 2 who had been employees of
Marks and Spencers. This detail has been taken from the original
book by Paul Bookbinder entitled "MARKS & SPENCER
THE WAR YEARS 1939-1945", ISBN 0 7126 35106, containing
the details of those who died. It lists the surname, initials,
rank, service and the office of Marks and Spencers where they
had been employed. This has been enhanced with various information
especially details from the Commonwealth
War Graves Commission web site and Army Roll of Honour
1939-1945.
