Gorsey Bank is near to Wirksworth, the war memorial stands beside the road side and is in the form of a squat square pillar on a tapering plinth with a single stepped base. There are 5 names for World War 1 and 5 for World War 2.

Son of Edward and Hannah Repton, of 11, Water Lane, Wirksworth, Derbyshire. No known grave. Commemorated on TYNE COT MEMORIAL, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 99 to 102 and 162 to 162A.
