World War 1 & 2 - Roll of Honour with detailed information
Compiled and copyright © Vernon Masterman 2005

St Swithins Church, or as it is now named Bournemouth Family Church, is situated on a triangular island plot of land at the junction of St Swithins Road, Gervis Road and Manor Road in the East Cliff area of Bournemouth. Sited in the grounds to the East is a memorial to the Fallen of the parish in both conflicts, some are also remembered at St Peters Church Bournemouth, which is less than a mile to the West and is the mother church of St Swithins also at St Clements Bournemouth also less than mile to the North East.

An infamous building on the other side of the road at No 5 Manor Road is the house that the Rattenbury Murder of 1936 took place in.
