ship was sunk in action in the North Sea 31 May 1916. Born 28 March
1891 in Sherborne, Dorset. Husband of Flossie Adams, of 9, Ludbourne
Rd, Sherbourne, Dorset, married April to June Quarter 1916 in Sherborne
Registration District, Dorset. In the 1911 census he was single,
aged 21, born Sherborne, Dorset, a Hay Trusser, lodging at Long
Street, Sherborne, Dorset. Prior to enlistment he was a general
Albourer. Enlisted 25 April 1913 for 12 years, height 5 feet 3½
inches, chest 35½ inches, light brown hair, brown eyes, fresh
