The war memorial takes the form of a brass plaque in a wooden frame within the church of St Peter and St Andrew Church, Toller Porcorum. It contains the names of three men who gave their lives in World War 1, none for World War 2.

Private 19241, 6th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry. Died, 16th September 1916. Son of Sylvester and Jael Durnford, of Great Toller, Maiden Newton, Dorchester, Dorset; husband of Laura A. Bowditch Durnford, of "Dulce Domum", 5, Wesley St., St. Helier, Jersey. Commemorated on Thiepval Memorial

Sapper WR/317280, Royal Engineers (Inland Water Transport). Died, 7th July 1918. Husband of Julia J. L. Marsh, of 2, The Gardens, Great Toller. Buried in Toller Porcorum Churchyard

Joseph Francis

Private 29677, 2nd Battalion, Hampshire Regiment. Killed in action 16/8/1917. Enlisted Porth, Glamorgan. Born, Great Toller, Dorset. Formally 12570, Dorset Regiment. Buried in Clement House Cemetery (Flanders)
