There are two memorial tablets located in the entrance lobby at the Royal Mail Darlington Mail Centre, St. Cuthbert’s Way, DARLINGTON, DL1 1AA and each contains the names of those Darlington District Postmen who went to war and lost their lives. The World War 1 memorial takes the form of a black enamelled brass tablet with relief lettering mounted on a wooden backing. The second memorial tablet for World War 2 is mounted below the Great War Memorial tablet on the same wooden backing. It takes the form of a polished brass plate engraved with the names of the fallen.
