Private 54756, 19th Battalion, Welsh Regiment. Died of wounds 20 September 1918. Aged 36. Born Great Tey, Essex, enlisted Colchester, resident Chappel. Son of Walter and Selina Blackwell, of Great Tey, Essex; husband of Gertrude Blackwell, of 98, Harsnett Rd., Colchester. Buried in THILLOY ROAD CEMETERY, BEAULENCOURT, Pas de Calais, France. Plot/Row/Section A. Grave 32.
BROME Henry
Lance Corporal L/10492, 1st battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Killed in action 25 September 1916. Boprnad resident Chappel, enlisted Colchester. No known grave. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 5 D
