of Thomas Bateman, resident Bradwell Road, Tillingham, Maldon, Essex.
In the 1911 census he was aged 30, unmarried, born Tillingham, Essex,
a Labourer, lodging at Alcester Street, Birmingham, Aston, Warwickshire.
No known grave. Commemorated on TYNE COT MEMORIAL, West-Vlaanderen,
Belgium. Panel 96 to 98. |

fire 17th June 1956 during the 'Lucky Alphonse' operations when
a forest fire swept across their position near Vroisha in the Troodos.

Buried in Wayne's Keep Military Cemetery, Nicosia.
