The Purbeck stone memorial is in the form of a Celtic cross standing
on a raised square plinth on a small traffic island in Church Lane at
the junction with the B3047 main road. The names of those commemorated
from World War One are inscribed in a panel on the side of the plinth
which faces the main road and the names of those from World War Two
have been added on a second panel on the opposite side.
