The
West Meon War memorial is to be found in the grounds of St John the
Evangelist Parish Church, West Meon, and takes the form of a stone cross
on an octagonal plinth standing on a two-stepped base which in turn
stands on a square base. The inscription and names are carved, in relief,
on the sides of the main plinth. There are 30 names for World War 1
and 9 for World War 2.
