Lance Corporal 54903, 10th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Killed in action 11th April 1917 in France & Flanders (missing between 8-11th APril 1917, reported as dead 11th April). Age 30. Born Walford, enlisted Hereford. Son of James and Clara Annie Brown, of Herefordshire; husband of Fanny Brown, of 24, Hill St., Lodge, Brymbo, Wrexham, Denbighshire. Formerly 4678, Monmouthshire Regiment. Buried in BEAURAINS ROAD CEMETERY, BEAURAINS, Pas de Calais, France. Row G. Grave 12.

Sapper 496816, SDGW states 482nd and CWGC states 477th Field Company, Royal Engineers. Died of wounds 26th January 1917 in France & Flanders. Age 26. Born Cummertrees, Dumfriesshire, enlisted Hereford. Son of the late James and Mary Dunkeld, of Cummertrees, Dumfriesshire. Buried in DERNANCOURT COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Somme, France. Plot IV. Row G. Grave 28.

Private 44304, 1st/4th (Reserve) Battalion, Prince of Wales's Volunteers (South Lancashire Regiment). Died at home 6th January 1918. Age 18. Born and resident Pontrilas, enlisted Newport, Monmouthshire. Son of Thomas Gwilliam and Mary Ann Jennings, of 1, Brick Terrace, Pontrilas, Hereford. Buried in south of the chancel in the CHURCH OF ST. MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS, EWYAS HAROLD, Herefordshire.

Private 239299, Herefordshire Regiment attached 5th Battalion, King's Shropshire Light Infantry. Killed in action 22nd August 1917 in France & Flanders. Age 32. Born Shire Newton, Monmouthshire, enlisted Ewyas Harold. Son of Samuel and Elizabeth Povey, of Caeflwyn, Ewyas Harold, Pontrilas, Hereford. Commemorated on TYNE COT MEMORIAL, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 154.

VENANT-ROBECQ ROAD BRITISH CEMETERY, ROBECQ, Pas de Calais, France. Plot III. Row E. Grave 10.
