The memorial
is located ouytside St peters Church, Ayot St Peter Road, Ayot St peter,
Hertfordshire. It takes the form of a probable Gothic memorial with
a resemblance to an Eleanor Cross with shields on each face; it was
unveiled in 1919. One face contains the inscription and three faces
list those who died. There are 20 names in total for World War 1 only,
the name has the rank and regiment/service for each man. The names have
been sorted into alphabetical order here for ease of reading and research.
