Found
at the top of New Road, Berkhamstead/Potten End Road on the right, down
from golf course is a large stone cross on brickwork plinth cross of
St George. It takes the form of two stone steps surmounted by stone
pedestal with four sides, bearing the inscription. A large stone obelisk
is upon the pedestal. The upper surface of the top step is inlaid with
red bricks.
