Brother of Sidney Frank Day who also fell. Son of William Frederick and Alice Day, of 6, Maypole Cottages, Water End, North Mymms, Hatfield, Herts. In 1911 census he is a Farm Labourer, aged 16, born North Mymms, resident Water End, North Mimms. Entitled to the Victory, British War Medals and 1915 Star. Saw action from 21 April 1915.
