Odsey is a hamlet of Steeple Morden, situated near Ashwell and Morden station. The memorial is on the west side of the road between Steeple Morden and the station, between the Ashwell road and the station.

Private 40417, 7th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Killed in action 31 july 1917. Born Royston, enlisted Hitchin. Formerly 45263, Suffolk Regiment. Son of John Beale and Alice Beale (nee Siggins). Buried in PERTH CEMETERY (CHINA WALL), West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Plot II. Row K. Grave 19.

Second Lieutenant, 27th Trench Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Died of wounds 19 December 1915. Aged 22. Son of Arthur and Rosetta Flack, of Rock Rd., Royston, Herts. Awarded the Distinguished Conduct Mesal (D.C.M.). Buried in BOULOGNE EASTERN CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. Plot VIII. Row C. Grave 70.
