Born Sawtry, enlisted Royston, Hertfordshire, resident Holme. Son of Harriet Elizabeth Burdett, of Holme, Hunts. Buried in AUCHONVILLERS MILITARY CEMETERY, Somme, France. Grave II. G. 5.
BAKER Robert George Private 12218, attached 41st Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps. Age 18. Died Saturday 22nd July 1916 in Mesopotamia. Son of William James and Emma Baker, of The Gardens, Holme, Peterborough. Born at Ormesby, Great Yarmouth. Buried in AMARA WAR CEMETERY, Iraq. Grave IX. D. 6.
