BURTON | Reginald John | 2nd Lieutenant, 8th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment. Died of wounds Monday 15th April 1918 in Military Hospital Courtral in German hands. Age 25. Son of John Richard and Mary Ann Burton, of Lutton, Oundle, Northants. Served with Northamptonshire Yeomanry from November, 1914, to March, 1917. Buried in KORTRIJK (ST.-JAN) COMMUNAL CEMETERY, Kortrijk, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Grave C. 9. |
HEAD | Reginald | Private 14478, 2nd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Killed in action on the Somme Sunday 4th June 1916 at Noulette. Born Lutton, enlisted Northmapton. Buried in BOIS-DE-NOULETTE BRITISH CEMETERY, AIX-NOULETTE, Pas de Calais, France. Grave I. C. 5. |

Panel 51 and 53 [Fail to see the connection with Lutton but as this fits every detail on the memorial then there must be a connection] |
PETTIFOR | Tom [Thomas] | [Listed as PETTIFER on SDGW] Private G/13418, 6th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment. Killed in action [4th on memorial] 3rd May 1917 in France. Born Stilton, enlisted Huntingdon, resident Washingley. Commemorated on ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Bay 7 |
