The memorial is to be found on the south wall of the bell tower in Folkestone's Garden of Remembrance and lists the names of the volunteers from Folkestone who served in the Boer War. The names are listed in four columns with rank, surname and initials in most cases. The names are listed grouped by rank but have been sorted alphabetically here for ease of reading. There is no indication of the Regiment these men served in or who died and who survived.
