Hollingbourne Parish Church has two memoriasl, the first is in the form of a Celtic Cross of granite covered with ragstone ashlar that stands upon a three tiered base. The memorial holds the names of 14 men from the First World War and 11 from the Second World War. Within the church is a further Roll of Honour that contains the names of 18 men from the First World War. Those only appearing on the Roll of Honour within the church are marked *.

Son of Harry Barling and Kate Louisa Barling of 20 Hamlet Road, Norwood, London. Buried Busigny Communal Cemetery Extension, Nord, France. Grave reference - VI. C. 27.

Second Lieutenant, Medaille Militaire (France). Royal Air Force. 26th Training Depot Station. Died 10th December 1918. Son of Mr G R Court of Eythorne Green Farm, Hollingbourne, Kent. Buried locally in Hollingbourne (All Saints) Churchyard, Hollingbourne, Kent.

Son of Mr M Gatland of Broomfield, Leeds, Maidstone, Kent. Husband of Mabel Verina Gatland. Buried Erquinghem-Lys Churchyard Extension, Nord, France. Grave reference - II. A. 19.

Private 44918, 14th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry (D.L.I). Formerly (2653) Queen’s Own (Royal West Kent Regiment). Died 3rd December 1917 aged 19 years. Enlisted Touleridge? Resided Hollingbourne. Son of Mrs H D Gibson of 33 Kingsley Road, Maidstone, Kent. Also served at the Dardanelles. Commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial, Louvernal, Nord, France. Panel reference - 10.

Also served in 1914-1918 war and a pre war WW2 member of the corps.
