Private M2/226216, Motor Transport Depot (Grove Park), Royal Army Service Corps. Died in United Kingdom 1st November 1916. Aged 27. Born Warehorne, enlisted Ashford, resident Cantebury. Son of Thomas Charles and Sarah Bridger; husband of Eva Mary Thomas (formerly Bridger), of 29, Artillery Gardens, Canterbury. Buried in GREENWICH CEMETERY, London. Grave reference 3 "C." A. 285.

Private T/2714, 5th Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Died in United Kingdom 3rd January 1916. Born, resident and enlisted Ashford. Buried in SHFORD CEMETERY, Kent. Grave 7199.

Albert Reginald

Private 242641, 6th Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment. Killed in action 23rd March 1918 in France & Flanders. Aged 25. Born Kenardington, enlisted Herne Bay and resident Hoath. Son of George and Anne Elizabeth Brown, of Church Rd., Kenardington, Ashford, Kent. Commemorated on POZIERES MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Panel 29 and 30.

M C G - probably Private 108049, H.Q. Company, 1st Battalion, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry). Died 10th December 1919. Aged 21. Only son of Ernest James and Edith Jane Joy, of Rye, Sussex. Buried north-east of the church in SS. PETER AND PAUL CHURCHYARD, APPLEDORE, Kent.
