REICHWALD FOREST, GERMANY, AND WAS PRESENTED TO THE
MAIDSTONE TOWN COUNCIL

Richard Charles aka Dick

Lance Serjeant 2622163, 1st Battalion, Grenadier Guards. Died of wounds 3 April 1945. Aged 23. Son of Richard A. and Emily Chapman, of Maidstone, Kent; husband of Ivy Joyce Chapman, of Windsor, Berkshire. Buried in REICHSWALD FOREST WAR CEMETERY, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Plot 53. Row C. Grave 2.
