OSTERSTOCK William
William was a Pilot Officer (Pilot) (#116767) with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He had been a resident of 133 Upper Grosvenor Rd., Tunbridge Wells. His name appears on a plaque at St Luke’s Church Tunbridge Wells. He is buried in the Tunbridge Wells Cemetery. He died at age 20 May 5, 1942. He was buried in the Tunbridge Wells Cemetery (Row B. Grave 11). He was the son of Reginald John William and Eliza Jane Osterstock of Tunbridge Wells.
OVENDEN Neville Arthur James
Neville was a Sergeant (#1331911) with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, 215 Squadron who at the age of 21 died in Bangladesh August 8, 1943. He is recorded at the Chittagong War Cemetery (3. H. 4). He was the son of Percy George and Anne Kate Ovenden of Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells. He was born 1921 in Tunbridge Wells.
OWEN James Richard
James was a Marine (#CH/23360) with the Royal Marines, H. M. S. DANUBE III who at the age of 34 died in the United Kingdom October 13, 1940 at Sheerness, Kent. He is recorded at the Chatham Naval Memorial (39, 3). He was the son of George (1859-1928) and Jane Owen (nee Wood 1862-1935) and the husband of Irene Maud Owen (nee Smallwood 1906-1988) of Tunbridge Wells. He was born December 20, 1905 at Tunbridge Wells. He was married November 1926 in Tunbridge Wells. He and his wife had one son and two daughters.
