HEATH CHARNOCK BOWLING CLUB WAR MEMORIAL

The memorial is to be found in the Bay Horse Public House (shared with the bowls club), on Babylon Lane, Heath Charnock nr Adlington, Lancashire. The Roll of Honour takes the form of two varnished and glazed wooden boards. Each board has two sets of inset names, in two columns, the surround is in the form of two carved columns supporting a pediment at ther top. The first board has the names of those who died in the left hand inset, 30 names in all, the left insert contains the names of those who served which is continued onto the two inserts on the other board, a tioal of 149 names.
