The
memorial is located at the side of the road at the junction of the
A159 and B1205. It takes the form of a concrete base upon which are
four marble steps supporting a plinth under an oblesisk. The inscriptions
are to be found on three sides of the plinth and on the front of the
stepped base. The obelisk has a laurel wreath carved into the stone
work in relief. The memorial contains 18 names for World War 1 and
6 for World War 2.
