The memorial is situated at the southern edge of the village, east of the A161 road at the junction of Wahrf Road and Trent Street, Ealand. It consist of a three-stepped base surmounted by a column, cornice and a small Latin cross with carved inscriptions in black lettering on two sides of the column. There is also a vase placed at the foot of the memorial commemorating a man from World War 2. There are 6 names for World War 1 and 1 for World War 2.

HICKS	Gregory Thornton	Leading Stoker K/10086. HMS Invincible, Royal Navy. Drowned 31st May 1916, aged 25 years. Son of William and Emily Hicks of 17 Trent Terrace, Crowle Wharf, Lincs. Commemorated PORTSMOUTH NAVAL MEMORIAL. 16.
BROWN	Robert	Able Seaman (Tyneside) Z/8608, Anson Battalion, Royal Naval Division. Died 26th October 1917. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL. Panel 2 to 3 and 162 to 162A.
CLARK	J E	No trace CWGC/SDGW. Memorial states L/Corporal. 8th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 13th April 1917. Commemorated EALAND MEMORIAL, Lincs.
HOLMES	Alfred	Private 40086. 2nd Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 2nd December 1917, aged 29 years. Son of Jonathan and Annie Holmes of 1 Trent Terrace, Crowle Wharf, Lincs. Born and enlisted Crowle, Lincs. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL. Panel 35 to 37 and 162 to 162A.
TEANBY	Herbert William	Driver 179795. Royal Field Artillery. Died of wounds 13th September 1917, aged 24 years. Son of Herbert William and Esther Eugene Teanby of Ealand, Lincs. Enlisted Crowle and resident Crowle, Lincs. Commemorated ZUYDCOOTE MILITARY CEMETERY. I.B.13.
WAINWRIGHT	G	No trace CWGC or SDGW. Memorial states Gunner. Royal Garrison Artillery. Died of wounds 7th April 1920. Commemorated EALAND MEMORIAL, Lincs.
Their name liveth for evermore.
Also killed in the World War 1939 – 1945.
HEBDEN	Vincent	Private 14547655. 4th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 20th November 1944, aged 20 years. Son of James William and Kate Hebden of Ealand, Lincs. Commemorated VENRAY WAR CEMETERY. VIII.C.7.
