The Gedney Hill and district Memorial Hall stands in Hill Gate, Gedney Hill and is a structure built of brick and wood. Two brass plaques have been attached tot he front of the building bearing the names of those who served and those who gave their lives in both World Wars. TH World War 1 plaque contains the details of 48 men who returned and 8 that died. The World War 2 plaque contains the names of four men who all perished.

ALLEN	Thomas	Pte either Thomas Allen, 801308 Driver, 34th Bty, 189th Bde, Royal Field Artillery. 1-11-18, age 21. Son of John & Jane Allen, of Sutton St Edmund. St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France. Or Thomas Henry Allen, 8574 Pte, 2nd Suffolk Regiment. Died 9-4-15, Vierstraat sector. Born Lambeth, enlisted Wisbech. 8th Bde, 3rd Div. Both also listed Sutton St Edmund.
ALEXANDER	Arthur	16184 Pte, 1st Lincolnshire Regiment. Died of wounds 25-6-16, age 21. Son of Charles Alexander, Holbeach Drove. Heilly Station Cemetery, Somme, France. Also listed Holbeach St John's.
COOPER	George Kirkham	649120 Pte, 4th Btn Canadian Mounted Infantry. 26-4-17. Born Gedney. Labourer, enlisted in 159th btn on 11-4-16. Husband of Mrs Ellen Cooper, New Liskeard, Ontario. Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
LYNN	Frederick	42772 L/Cpl, 15th Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby Rgt). 29-9-18. Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, Belgium. (Note: Pte F Lynn, Wisbech, Notts & Derby Rgt, wounded, Official List, Cambs Times 13-10-16).
PAGE	Harry	27153 Pte, 2nd Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Killed in action 23-9-16, age 21. Son of James & Hannah Page, Gedney Hill. Berks Cemetery Extension, Ploegsteert, Belgium.
SEATON	Herbert Harry	20230 Pte, 2nd Suffolk Regiment. Died of wounds 4-3-16, age 35. Son of Jabez & Caroline Seaton, Ivy House, Gedney Hill, Wisbech. Etaples Military Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France.
SEATON	Bernard Fell	TR9/5899 Pte, 12th Training Reserve Battalion. Died (home) 23-2-17, age 22. Son of Levi & Ellen Seaton. Born Parson Drove, enlisted Spalding, living Gedney Hill. Rugeley Cemetery, Staffs.
WILLIAMSON	George	CH/19377 Pte, HMS Victory, Royal Marine Light Infantry. 4-10-15, age 18. Only son of Mr W & Mrs E Williamson, New York, Lincoln. Native of Gedney Hill. Ford Park Cemetery (formerly Plymouth Old Cemetery), Pennycomequick, Devon.
Note: Lynn, Page, both Seatons & Williamson are also listed on a memorial in the churchyard.

IREMONGER	Albert Harvey	1575040 Sgt-Pilot, 14-7-43, age 23. Son of Albert & Margaret Iremonger, West Bridgford, Notts; husband of May Iremonger, Wainfleet, Lincs. Wilford (St Wilfred) Churchyard, West Bridgford.
NAYLOR	John William	1898463 Sgt, Air gnr, Royal Air Force. 25-9-44, age 36. Son of Herbert Edward & Elizabeth Ann Naylor; husband of Ena Naylor, Southall, Middlesex. Gedney Hill (Holy Trinity) Churchyard.
