World War 1 & 2 - Roll of Honour with detailed information
Compiled and Copyright © Bill Ball 2022

On the south wall of the porch is a metal plaque in a wooden frame, engraved with names of 6 men killed in WW1. In the church can be found extensive documentation on these men and those who survived, much of it based on contemporary reports in the local paper (The Horncastle News and South Lindsey Advertiser). The details below rely heavily on this research, which may also be found at https://asterby-goulceby.parish.lincolnshire.gov.uk/parish-information/asterby-goulceby-remembers/1
