The
war village memorial is to be found in the grounds of St Michael and
All Angels, East End, Langtoft. It takes the form of a small flight
of steps that climb a small bank to the side of the path approaching
the church, at the top of this flight is a small fence surrounding
a square concrete base. Erected on the base is a three-tiered plinth
upon which an ornate cross is mounted on top of which a medal and
a sheaf of branches are sculpted; the mason was J T Plowright. There
are 8 names for World War 1 and 4 for World War 2.
