LINCOLN ALL SAINTS WAR MEMORIAL

World War 1 - Roll of Honour with detailed information
Compiled and Copyright © Bill Ball 2006

The memorial can be found within All Saint’s Church, Lincoln. On the south wall of the nave is a built-up stone panel, with white lettering on black marble with a carved white stone surround. The panel has upper and lower sections, both with the names in them in alphabetical order. The upper panel has 44 names, the lower 19 names. The reason for the two panels is unclear, but it is not rank, date of death, or unit. All the names are on the main Lincoln War Memorial, except for Bernard Hollin, James Lobley, Thomas W Nicholls, George F Roberts and Francis Bacon. No memorial was found for WW2.
