The Ropsley church war memorial is to be found inside the church of St Peter, Ropsley. It takes the form of an elaborate, nowy headed, wall tablet with a wreath and cross in the nowy-head. There are 20 names of those who died in World War 1.

Private 74093. 28th Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment). Died 15th September 1916, aged 27 years. Son of George Cave and Elizabeth Williamson Abbott of Ropsley, Lincs. Commemorated VIMY MEMORIAL.

Private 40614. 10th Battalion, Essex Regiment, formerly 5840 Lincolnshire Regiment. Died of wounds 17th October 1916, aged 19 years. Son of Harriet Elizabeth Barber of Ropsley, Lincs. Enlisted Grantham and resident Little Gonerby, Lincs. Commemorated CONTAY BRITISH CEMETERY, Contay. III.C.27.
