Boer War - Roll of Honour with detailed information

Within the church of St Lawrence, Snarford there is a white stone plaque with black lettering on the wall of the nave to F W Graham and C Toyne who died while serving and below this on a hand written framed glazed document is the Roll of Honour for the village. Five sons of the late rector of the parish were killed during the war out of seven who served. Note: The nearby Hackthorn and Welton War Memorials both also include the name Charles Toyne. The five Beechey’s are on the main Lincon War Memorial.
