The war memorial can be found within St John the Baptist Church, Stainton by Langworth. There is a plaque within the church and then a Roll of Honour within a frame.

On a plaque in the church:

TO THE GLORY OF GOD,
AND IN MEMORY OF THE FOLLOWING MEN
OF STAINTON-BY-LANGWORTH,
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR KING AND COUNTRY
DURING THE GREAT WAR,
1914 - 1918.
