The monument
is in the cemetery at Panteg, on the A4042 just outside Pontypool.
It takes the form of a cross on top of a square column, on top of
a three-step plinth. On it are recorded 156 names from the First World
War, which are grouped according to rank. For ease, they have been
sorted alphabetically here.
