There are two memorials here back to back. They are situated to left of churchyard of St Mary Burnham Deepdale, on A149. The dates of death are also recorded on the memorial together with the names. There is also a separate Roll of Honour to all men who served (See second picture below) split in columns listed those from the Navy and those from the Army.

Lance Corporal 267227, 1st/5th Battalion (Territorial), Gloucestershire Regiment. Killed in action 16th August 1917 in France & Flanders. Age 21. Born King's Lynn, enlisted North Walsham. Son of William and Ellen Guthrie, of Southwoods, Brancaster Staithe, King's Lynn. Commemorated on TYNE COT MEMORIAL, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 72 to 75.

Private 16656, 9th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action 15th April 1918 in France & Flanders. Age 23. Born Brancaster Staithe, enlisted Norwich. Son of the late Robert and Rebecca Loose. Commemorated on TYNE COT MEMORIAL, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 34 to 35 and 162A.

Son of William and Anna Sutherland, of Brancaster Staithe, Lynn, Norfolk. Formerly 16169, East Surrey Regiment. Buried in FIFTEEN RAVINE BRITISH CEMETERY, VILLERS-PLOUICH, Nord, France. Grave I. Chief Stoker 287400, H.M.S. "Vanguard", Royal Navy. Died 9th July 1917. Age 39. Son of the late Robert Isaac and E, Winterbone of, Brancaster Staithe, King's Lynn Norfolk; husband of Kate Winterbone, of 3, Watton, Bridport, Dorset. Commemorated on CHATHAM NAVAL MEMORIAL, Kent. Panel 23.

Note: The warship HMS "Vanguard" exploded at Scapa Flow on 9th July 1917 killing 804. Just before midnight on Monday, 9 July 1917, the St Vincent class battleship HMS Vanguard suddenly blew up due to a magazine explosion in one of the two magazines which served the amidships turrets 'P' and 'Q'.
