The East Barsham War Memorial sits within the church of All Saints along with a Roll of Honour to the men who served in World War 1. The memorial is a brass engraved plaque with a cross at the top, the inscription below and the six names below that.

Adnah Charles Glasspoole on 1895 birth record, Charles Adnah Glasspole on SDGW, C A Glasspoole on CWGC. Sergeant 3/7307. 1st Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action 23rd April 1917. Son of George and Charlotte Glasspoole. Born Brundall and enlisted Hempton, Norfolk. Buried Lille Southern Cemetery. III.B.34.

Driver 84970. 209th Field Company, Royal Engineers. Died of wounds 27th April 1917. Son of George and Charlotte Glasspoole of 19 High Terrace, Fakenham, Norfolk. Born Brundall and enlisted Norwich, Norfolk. Buried Duisans British Cemetery. II.M.4.

Lieutenant. Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Died 8th July 1919. Son of Revd Charles E O Griffith of East Barsham Vicarage, Norfolk. Commemorated Archangel Allied Cemetery. Sp Mem B54 (buried Semenovka [Bereznik] Cemetery Extension).
LEEDS Robert Temple
Private 62959. 7th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, formerly 8094 Queens Royal West Surrey Regiment. Killed in action 23rd April 1917. Born c1895 North Barsham, enlisted Norwich and resident East Barsham, Norfolk. Missing and commemorated Arras Memorial. Bay 3.

Unable to identify E J Leeds as military casualty. Ernest John Leeds birth registered 1893 Walsingham District, civil death of Ernest J Leeds recorded Walsingham District 1919. Died of Tuberculosis East Barsham 9th February 1919, previously Gunner Royal Field Artillery.

Private 2379140. 52nd Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Born Fakenham 1st October 1890 and died 4th October 1918. Son of Walter and R Shephard of East Barsham, Norfolk. Buried Bucquoy Road Cemetery. IV.D.43.
