The Erpingham war memorial is to be found outside St Mary's Church, Erpingham. The memorial consists of a cross on a long shaft mounted on a plinth with the inscription on the sides of the memorial. There are 11 names for World War 1 and 2 for World War 2.

[Stanley William BEANE on CWGC] Private 29950, 9th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Died 1 May 1917. Son of Stanley Beane, of Erpingham, Norfolk. No known grave. Commemorated on LOOS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 30 and 31.

Shoeing Smith TS/7106 No. 1 Company (Catterick) Army Service Corps. Died 10 October 1916. Aged 45. Husband of Charlotte Varina Burgess, of Erpingham. Buried in the East part of new (West) ground ERPINGHAM (ST. MARY) CHURCHYARD, Norfolk. Father of below.
