Gunthorpe
is a remote village near Fakenham. The Gunthorpe Village memorial is
a granite cross, mounted on a plinth standing in a gravel area, with
a low granite border around it, in the grounds of St Mary the Virgin
Church, Gunthorpe. It contains 9 names for World War 1, none for World
War 2. Within the church is a hand painted illuminated Roll of Honour
containing the same names as the war memorial.
