Corporal 748. 4th Battalion Guards Machine Gun Regiment. Formerly
13611 Scots Guards. Died of wounds in France & Flanders on 27th
March 1918. Aged 22. Born Runhall, Norfolk. Lived Attleborough.
Enlisted Norwich. Son of Henry and Annie Elizabeth Abel, of "Old
Bird in Hand," Hardingham, Norfolk. Buried: Cabaret-Rouge British

Agricultural Company, Labour Corps. Died on 28th February 1919.
Aged 24. Son of Alfred and Harriet Lambert, of Woodbastwick; husband
of Carrie Lambert, of Mill Cottages, Sledmere, Malton, Yorks. Buried:
Woodbastwick (SS. Fabian And Sebastian) Churchyard. North-East of

May 1917. Aged 32. Sapper Chapman was born on 19th June 1884, the
son of Jane Ellen Chapman, of The Lodge, South Walsham, Norfolk,
England, and the late James Chapman. In Canada he worked as a Lineman.
Buried: Hersin Communal Cemetery Extension, Pas de Calais, France.
