Peakirk memorial is located in St Peagas Church, Chestnut Close, Peakirk
and takes the form of a mosaic tablet decorated with English and Scottish
lions, Irish clover and a kangaroo. There are nine names listed for
World War 1 only.

action 03-07-15, aged 18. Son of the Reverend Robert Colquhoun Faithfull
and Felicia Amy Faithfull, Shrub House, Copford, Colchester. Late
of Peakirk Rectory. Buried in Bard Cottage Cemetery, Ypres, Grave
Strathcona Horse attached Royal Air Force. Believed
to be: Lieutenant, Walter Henry Goodale, 46th Bn. Canadian
Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment). Killed in action 01-08-18, aged
23. Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Goodale, Peakirk; husband of Kathleen
May Goodale, St. Edmundsbury, Royston, Herts. Buried in Chambieres
French National Cemetery, Metz, Grave 330.
